The process for the Witcher TV Show Recreation was the very simple as I did not have to come up with a story idea and plan shot set up as those were already set. Instead for this project I had to line up the shots and animations exactly to the original clip. I also had to model and texture the toys in place of the characters, weapons, and set. The original assignment was to create the animation as close to the original clip as possible, but for the lighting I chose to make it more upbeat and bright to better match the rest of the set.
The environment was fun to make as it is a child's blocks set which let me go back to playing like a child lining up all the pieces to create an interesting village set for the little rubber men to run about. The floor is simple carpeting and the sky is the walls of the room, the lighting is bright like a room lit up by sunlight shining in. The twists and turns in the alleys mimick the setup of the alleys in theWitcher TV show, and the blocks fill the place of many set pieces including barels, steps and crates.
