The idea for this flower design came to me at a very low point in my life and even though at the time I really did not feel like doing anything something gripped me to try to make it in Maya. I don’t know where the idea for the design came from, although I’ve been told that it looks like many different things including one of those plasma globes. After the design first came to me I had a lot in my life change and somehow the desire to finish the flower model stayed, but now it meant more to me. I’d love to say I just finished the flower design and was able to move on, but after I was nearly done Maya decided to make the file I created it in completely unusable so I had to restart. After months, the final product is here and it may not be perfect, but it means something.
